The family-friendly Rock & Brews restaurant serves up American favorites, such as burgers, toasted sandwiches and hot dogs. There's no duty-free shopping available here - but there is a newsstand, a candy store and a few other stores selling everyday items. You can also buy LA souvenirs and quirky gadgets from Brookstone, which has a try-before-you-buy policy. There's no pharmacy in the terminal.

Terminal tips

If you have time to spare, pop over to the XpresSpa in Terminal 5 for a pre-flight relaxation treatment.

It takes about 10 minutes to get between the terminals using the passenger tunnels.

If you have some time before your flight and would like to explore the dining and retail options at LAX, your boarding pass gets you into any terminal.

Make sure you leave enough time to get back to your gate.
